Cell-phones, tablets, calculators etc. are widely used all over the world  and thus also account for considerable e-waste after they are discarded. These gadgets are first invariably shredded as  a part of complete recycling process. Also personal gadgets like cell-phones may contain confidential data and hence are physically shredded for security purpose.

Amey Engineers' PS H MC series of dual shaft heavy duty shredders are ideally suitable for shredding all types of cell-phones, calculators and other such small electronic items in an economical and productive way.  PS H MC series of shredders basically come in three standard models- PS  300 H MC, PS 400 H MC, PS 600 H MC. However customized models are also available according to customer requirements.  Standard PS H MC series shredder models come with 3 phase IP rated induction motors ranging from 7.5 hp  to 12.5 hp. Standard feed widths across PS H MC models is from 310 mm to 610 mm .  Throughput obtained across PS H MC series is from 30 kg/hr to 100 kg/hr.

PS H MC shredder models use pulley and worm-box reduction mechanism for power transmission to the drive shaft. Cutters are of alloy steel hardened type and use Milled and multi-point tooth configuration. Shredded output is in the form strips  of 10 to 12 mm widths. At discharge side bag clamping or collection bin facility is provided. Also, extra arrangements like automatic feed system, discharge conveyor system, dust separator, magnetic metal separator arrangements can be provided. PS H MC shredders are available in M.S. or S.S. MoC.
