Electronic waste or E -waste is one of the major wastes generated everyday around the world. E- wastes are generally shredded to reduce their form and size before they are subjected to recycling and metal recovery. Amey Engineers' SM and SM HD range of dual and four shaft shredders are extremely suitable for continuous heavy duty shredding of e-wastes. 

SM and SM HD series of shredders from Amey Engineers can shred different types of E-wastes  such as Printed Circuit Boards (PCB's), keyboards, hard disks, computer monitor, laptops, CPU cabinets, motherboards, printers, mouse, servers, cellphones, pen-drives, SMPS, calculators, etc.

SM and SM HD series of shredders come with 3 phase IP rated TEFC induction motors ranging from 15 hp to 120 hp and these shredders use AMEY-make inhouse designed  high safety factor gearbox for velocity reduction and torque transmission. SM and SM HD shredders are equipped with case hardened alloy steel cutters of 220 mm to 270 mm diameter (based on shredder model) and come in various cutter-tooth configurations. Linear cutting speed is 24 m/min for SM series and 39 m/min for SM HD series.  Throughput of the shredder is between 100 to 1000 kg/hr. (For custom models, even higher throughput is obtained).  Feed widths across standard SM and SM HD shredder range is from 310 mm to 810 mm. (Higher feed widths are available for custom models).

Various feed hopper configurations, extended feed hoppers, automatic feed systems, discharge conveyor systems,  dust separator systems and other arrangements can be provided as per customer's requirements. Shredders available in M.S. or S.S. MoC.

Standard models in SM and SM HD shredder series are: SM 300, SM 400, SM 600, SM 800, SM 300 HD, SM 400 HD, SM 600 HD, SM 800 HD. (Customized shredder models are also available).
